I've looked in these sections and have found only one post that even mentions this so am hoping that someone can help.

We are starting a new board - brand new, no posts to bring over or anything.

BUT we have about 18,000 users we need to get imported. Is there a way to do this with the app or can someone tell me the tables I need to make sure I populate with a custom SQL script/commands? Also, is there a way to call the encryption method for encrypting any fields that need to be encrypted?

Thanks much!!
Jay

The user tables are ubbt_USERS, ubbt_USER_DATA, ubbt_USER_GROUPS, ubbt_USER_NOTES, ubbt_USER_PROFILE. Of these the tables that must be populated for each user would be ubbt_USERS, ubbt_USER_DATA, ubbt_USER_GROUPS, ubbt_USER_PROFILE.

Well, it's just an MD5 hash, no salt, so no "encryption" necessary.

I'd recommend doing a dummy install and creating a couple of users so you can see the data each table is going to require.

Thanks, Gizmo!!

I've run a few SELECTs against those tables and so the data. Good suggestion on seeing what fields are needed. I've just done a new install so I should be able to query those tables and get the required records/fields. Thanks for that idea.
