I'm trying to make a couple of changes to the calendar...

1) Is there a way to force or encourage entry of a location? Should this be part of the title/subject, or would it require a mod/new field?

2) When making a new post in a variety of boards, readers can use a checkbox to make this entry an event. I want this option to be displayed only on one or two boards. Can this be done?

The Calendar feature is something I have been asking for enhancements for a long time.
Anyway:
1) No, It would require a Mod to add a field. So for now the title or body would be the only place.

2) To allow creating a event is a site permission. So it is a global setting that is applied to all forums.
