I setup a new forum and have attempted to add moderators to it. I follow the normal steps. After I hit the update moderator button the moderators that I added disappear. http://forums.pondboss.com/

No errors? If so then I would start with file permissions to check. especially forum/admin/ domodmanage.php
Just a guess.

Brooks upgraded our forum a week or so ago. Do you think he could check that since he has the credentials?

Also, posts in that forum are not showing up in the "Recent Posts" column.

That could be operator error if they are new forums. You need to add the forums to the post island settings. Not sure which forum it is. You have it appears to be two with a low post count.

"Operator error" was kind of you. I will admit to being the idiot who made the error.

Well did it fix it? Or do you need to wait on new postings. We all panic when we get new versions, then when we have one problem we blame everything on bugs.
Still not sure what forum it is!
Your moderator issue is another thing.

Other that file/folder permissions. Have you looked at the error logs?

Did you have someone check the permissions? I don't know enough about it to do a meaningful check. I don't see any errors in the logs that I can access from the control panel, if that is what you are asking.
Thanks

I am a user just like you. I can't request anyone to check your site. Only you can do that. Either a request with the vendor or give someone access to the site you trust.
Yes, one place to check is the server logs in the ubb control panel if you have enabled it.

OK, all good on this item. It was my ignorance. Once I had time to apply myself , Ruben's suggestion "permissions" were the issue. Thanks for the help!
