Invision Power Board and vBulletin have some of the worst code I've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure I've heard +Koushik Dutta say "flower-box comments are sign posts for shitty code". Proven once again, these code bases are full of flower boxes.

Seriously, code like this is just, horribly wrong:

if ($some_variable) {} else { $some_other_variable = 1; }

If you want to make gorillions, write forum software that doesn't suck.
