Hi
please go to http://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php
see the vertical spaces between every box, it looks like someone has added a row and put a "-" on every row.
I have done nothing that i'm aware of to cause this. I don't mess with the templates etc.

Its between every box/table in the left column and the "-" is placed to the left, its also between every forum category.

Any ideas what this could be?

that's your wrapper doing it.

each style has a wrapper, so just edit the wrapper to fix smile

Hi Mark,
Nope it did not work I tried to replace
http://www.britbike.com/forums/styles/images/drop_shadow_wrapper/bottom_middle.gif
from several backups but same problem occur, It looks like this only appears on the ubbcentral_(light_blue) option.
Any more ideas why it could happen?

SD, what do you think needs to be corrected?

Thanks
Morgan

Check which wrapper is set as default to each style if i remember correctly.
In the style sheets via the control panel, you can allocate a wrapper to the style.

They may be different. (If you have more than 1 wrapper).

Look in styles the first drop list and check "Wrapper Set" mine are set to default.

Hope that helps

Mark,

I noticed I had below wrappers and the light blue style was set to first dropshadow wrapper and i set it to default and the problem was gone.. smile
I wonder why i have four dropshadow wrappers... wonder if I shall keep one and delete the others.. not sure about that.
Any more comments..
thanks

The duplicates are due to installing multiple styles that used the dropshadow wrapper.
You will need to review each one and determine in fact they are true exact duplicates before deleting them.
Then probably you will need to re-assign the leftover styles to the correct wrapper.

I have 1 wrapper for all my styles.
But i'm still on 7.5.x

If I remember I was wary deleting the other wrappers but it worked out.
First check what wrapper is assigned to first (Default)
then if you have a default wrapper on the wrappers page then it should all work out.

Back up first so you can put them back.

easiest way is to rename your wrappers, so they have a unique name.

then, you can safely delete the wrappers that are not used.

then you can debug the in use wrapper(s)

2c

i don't know how many times i've seen sites with 10 or more 'default' wrappers, when only 1 is being used.

good practice is to name all your wrappers the same as your theme name and not share them. then wrappers have a 1 to 1 relationship with their theme.

yep.
I think its due to importing styles that use a wrapper.
Since most have default as a wrapper. It does not mean that it is the same default wrapper.
But it still adds a duplicate default wrapper.
