I am now back to 6.1. Several of my members log in and when they make a post the ame "anonymous" shows next to their posts.

Also, some members make a post, and for some reason I Can't view it. These members ALSO are being shown as ANONYMOUS when they make a post. THEY can see their post, but I can't.

WOW. What a nightmare THREADS has been.

George,

Currently we have tickets open with you to try to determine exactly what is going on with your site. Rick Baker - the product developer - has had a look at your database and was able to do upgrades without a problem on his own servers.

At this time if you need diagnostics then we can work out an estimate for the Advanced Support required to do a professional recovery & upgrade of your installation.

Regards,

Brett Harris

Brett:

At this point I am not inclined to throw good money after bad. If I spend any new money it will be for a different Forum.

I am very frustrated and disappointed

Please note As I stated above.I have gone BACK to 6.1 and done a restore. And even after doing this................I am having problems with all of this "anonymous" and people can log on one time..and two hours later they CAN'T log in.
I go to many other Forums on a daily basis....I NEVER have any problems logging in, or posting or anything....Of course none of these other forums use Unfopop.

well, part of the problem is the url in your setup.

on your main page the link is
http://www.muskymansports.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

but your board is set up for

http://www.muskymansports.com//ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

See the extra / in there after the .com?

That doesn't help cookie matters very much. Take that extra / from your board setup. It'll help.

George, fixed. The install program adds the extra slash sometimes by accident.

It's been reported on the beta board Dave <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Thanks Dave and Thanks JC.
Hard to believe that ONE little / has been causing me so many problems the past week.

Thanks for the heads up.
