Is there a way to make the RSS Feeds not include Images?

I embed items from the feed into a Table on some HTML pages and large images can tend to stretch things out.

(Actually, I haven't used it in a while, so I don't know if it was a IE Browser thing, but I'd rather just have text if I can.)

Is there an easy way to do that?

Bill

Your feeds from UBB.threads shouldn't contain any attachment data, if the posts contain images embedded in them then you're going to want to configure your RSS parser to not parse images.

the rss feed generator includes whatever the post includes. The text and the links. It does not include the attachments or automatically generated links to the attachments, unless there is a link within the post text to it.

Beyond what Gizmo already mentioned about updating your rss feed reader client settings, you could just update your rss feed to include 0 chars of the post content. ie; titles only. but thats a jerk-move. and goes against the spirit of how rss feeds are designed to work.

I've been using FeedForALL with RSS2HTML. I didn't see any Display settings.

I guess I'll have to look into it further.

Thanks anyway,

Bill

I just figured out it is only an issue with Explorer, not FF and Chrome.
