My users have noticed that some avatars are overlapping the first couple words in the post when the phone is held vertical. When held horizontal, the layout is different and the avatar doesn't cause a problem.
I have avatars set at 80 pixels. The user avatar in the attached example is 46 w x 80 h. Square 80 pixel avatars don't cause an overlap. Could it be the non-square 46 pixel width is causing the layout issue? What can I change?

Thanks

What style are you using?
The reason is if you are using a style that not was not upgraded to the current version then you may need to edit the style.
A link to the problem post would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't try other styles.

We are running UBBCentral - Zen as default. I just tried ubbthreads stock and got the same overlap as Zen. I tried a couple Ventura Open styles and they don't show that overlapped.

An example thread showing avatar/text overlap in vertical phone mode:

Well then the best thing is to replace the problematic styles with updated ones.
It is a two step process.
Rename the zen and ubb stock styles. Replace them from the members section by importing the styles pack's.
Delete the old original styles that were renamed. You should be good to go.

Or drill down through all the style settings and figure it out what is different.

I think you have been directed to update your styles before by Isaac for other issues.

Ruben, the issue is not anything to do with forum styles. Its a css block container issue within the actual template. This issue has been resolved in the upcoming version of UBB.threads.

Digitalgas, thanks for reporting this and bringing it to our attention so it could be fixed. Every item that gets reported, helps! thumbsup

Okay then I stand corrected. Glad to see you are on top of it.
I just assumed it was a out of date style that was not fully populated with all the newer css properties.

It was a good assumption, its the usual culprit

Thanks guys, for the discussion and help with this issue. It's not a big serious thing. Just about everyone loves the 7.6.1.1 easy photo upload directly into posts, the mobile responsiveness and fresh css look. A few just don't like change. wink

That is something I missed seeing in my 7.6.1.1 upgrade. Can someone explain this feature or point me to where I can learn more about it?

Thanks!

I believe he may be talking about the image attachments, which are managed by the Attachment Manager.

The very last line of the "UBB.threads 7.6.1.1 (2018-01-11) Changelog" section at:
https://www.ubbcentral.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/260743#Changelog7611

"[NEW] Attachment Display is now customizable between Grouped or Inlined. Grouped images are displayed as thumbnails grouped together under the post. Inlined images are displayed at full width (while still fitting within the post width) just under the post text."
