One of our members is getting redirected to this site when she tries to log into our forum: www.stopforumspam.com. She said:

"I keep getting a message encouraging me to enter my details onto a stop spam website because my IP address is blacklisted. It's preventing me from logging in about 50 pc of the time. This website they mention is not known to me (so I'm not happy to give details) and I get the message when I am in different locations and therefore using different IP address, which does not add up. Is there any way to stop this? Thanks. "

It sounds to me like she has been hacked... Would you agree?

Stop Forum Spam is the built in feature (as of UBB.threads v7.5.8) which checks user IP addresses against a centralized database of IP Addresses. IP Addresses are given out by an ISP, and aren't always static; dynamic IP addresses can change daily, monthly, whenever you restart your modem, whenever your ISP wants it to, etc.

If a legitimate user is being flagged you can either:
1. Disable Stop Forum Spam (which I do not recommend, ever)
2. Follow the removal guidelines from Stop Forum Spam

in addition, some "users" which complain that they cannot login to some sites, and are directed to remove themselves from the Stop Forum Spam website, tend to be human spammers (in my experience).
