I have see this topic a long time ago however I would like to ask a few things.

search example 1,

Searching for the word handle, the results shows handle but also handlebar and handlebars.
So if I just want handle to show up only how do I type the question?
I tried to type "handle" but same result came up.

2, another is the word Trump if someone search for that then words like trumpet can show up, how can I only search for trump?

Is there a way to exclude other words than the prefered?

also I use a 1.2 GB database with 68000 treads and 670000 posts which of the two options is best to use?
the UBB internal or MySQL Full text?

If you have a constant need of searching less than 3 letter words, I'd go UBB.threads Internal; the MySQL Full-Text Search uses the MySQL defaults which generally don't allow for searching 3 letters or less (see fine tuning below).

Don't know where the less that 3 characters came from which is true but not part of your question.

In your example you can use
Note the space at the end of the word
Now you will not get the highlighted text in the posts.
That is the way it always worked with using quotes.
