I think I have everything set up correctly after a long journey of an upgrade.
I am able to create a gallery, upload file in the panel, hit done, but I am not seeing the file anywhere. Is there a specific version of ImageMagic I need to be using? I see the gallery/28/.... directories, just no images. Is there a log or way to debug this? Permissions are 777 on everything.
Is there a port other than 443 that needs to be opened? What port is this using?

May sound like a dumb question, but you are submitting the post (by clicking "post reply" or "post new thread") after you upload the files? I have heard before of some people not submitting the post after uploading files, so what ends up happening is you upload the files and they go to the temp folder but are eventually purged because the post is never created so they're never moved to a gallery folder.

Your ImageMagick version shouldn't matter, your system should have something semi current. You'll want to make sure the paths are populated correctly (the UBB.threads System Requirements Test will tell you where it detects them at).

I created 2, and uploaded 2 files to one, and 1 file to the other. The gallery shows 2 files in one, 1 in the other, so I think I am hitting the right buttons.

I found this in the mysql.log

Script: /home/dbs/ubbthreads/frame/scripts/filemanager.inc.php - Line: 285
UPDATE ubbt_FILES
SET FILE_NAME = '5.jpg',
FILE_ORIGINAL_NAME = 'yellowedge.jpg' ,
FILE_WIDTH = 0 ,
FILE_HEIGHT = 0 ,
FILE_SIZE = '' ,
FILE_SHA1 = ''
WHERE FILE_ID = 5
- Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'FILE_SIZE' at row 1

For some reason the file size is unset.

No FILE SHA1 and no FILE SIZE means its not able to read the file. Recheck your paths.

I ran the path tester on the control panel and the ubbt_test.php, all looked good.

1. Within Control Panel > Permission Checks, the path permissions tool will check all files and directories to have the proper permissions.

2. Within Control Panel > Paths & Database, confirm that these paths are correct:
Absolute PATH to Path to Convert, Example: /usr/bin/convert
and
Absolute PATH to Path to Mogrify, Example: /usr/bin/mogrify

A real-time pseudo check to determine if your ImageMagic or GD are reachable is to visit the Control Panel > General > CAPTCHA Settings group and check if the images are being generated and displayed correctly. If they are not displayed, then your graphics libraries paths are incorrect or unreachable.

example:
[Linked Image]

3. Within Control Panel > Attachments > Image Processing, confirm that you have selected a functional graphics library to use for image processing
