Hello,
Not sure if its a bug BUT
For all the years back in time when a forum member subscription with a particular group expired I receive following PM as admin.
It contains member number and subscription group see below PM.

However since a while the messages has changed and does not include member number and subscription group anymore.
Its useless info. see below PM

What could have happen? is a file corrupt or How can I fix it?

could be your language file is missing the %%user%% and %%Group%% tags

No it looks right to me, the file was uploaded in Oct 2020 and it seems it has not changed since then.

I tend to delete the PM's that comes when a subscription has ended but I found one who was still in the inbox from August 2023 which was correct.
So from august last year until now something has happened.
I do remember seing this a while back but didn't react.
So when two faulty came a couple days ago I did react and posted the topic here.

So if paypal_ipn.php is correct then something else must be wrong.

It's difficult to test as one must have a subscription that ends to get a PM.

I know about how hard it is to test.
Myself I went to donations.
There is another file in the scripts folder that you can replace called
paypal_ipn.inc.php

So both of these files can be replaced without any issue? meaning they are not updated in anyway by the software?

just use the same version

I think the way I tested subscriptions is make one and set it to a very short duration.
After all you are paying yourself,
You can manually expire one in the transactions menu

Ruben thanks for the tip but I can't subscribe and pay using my own account.

Sure you can ,use a credit card for payment.
Make a test user.
I think you need to make sure you are logged out of paypal first.
I have done this

A new Subscription End of Term came today and it was completely ok.
I have not changed anything so why the other messages was wrong is still a mystery.
