UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Sticky posts and global announcements

I just installed version 8.0 and noticed that after a message is posted that I can no longer go back into that post and click on edit and be able to make it a global announcement or make it a sticky post as I could in previous versions. It seems that I can only make a sticky post or global announcement when I initially make the post and can no longer go back in a day two days later or a week later and make it a sticky or global announcement.

Is there a workaround for this or is this the way it's going to be moving forward?

Maybe you need to revisit your forum permissions

I use 16777000 minutes

I did look and it is set to 16777000. All my forums are set to that number and all act the same way.

I can make posts sticky using the inline moderation, but no longer within the edited post.

there is a typo (missing curly brace) in one of the scripts that controls the sticky/global toggle

in /scripts/stickpost.inc.php
find around line 83

replace with
