Ok, first I want to apologize to Rick. In the shadow of what happened to Threadsdev, I was a bit hasty to see this problem as sign of someone trying to hack into my forum, and I sent off a frantic email to Rick, asking if I'd been hacked. LOL
Sorry Rick.

Now, on to the problem...
I was unable to log into my database. So, my serverhost, being the nice people they are, changed the password for the database, so I could log in there. (Never been in there before. Once I got in there, it was all greek to me anyway. LOL)
Unfortunatly.... now I have major sql errors. Only part of the page comes up. The rest is just a list of sql erors. Strangely enough, in several places, it says that these error messages are visible only to administrators, but everyone that tries the forum, gets this page full of error messages.
In my kndergarten understanding of things, I tried to figure out the problem. I took a look at the first error message. It said... "Warning: Access denied for user: 'luka@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/luka/www/ubbthreads/mysql.inc.php on line 35"
I looked in the file, and counted down 35 lines. (including blank lines, right ?) Like I said, I have only a kindergarten knowledge of these things. But after piecing together the two bits of information... From what I could tell, the forum has to make a call to the database, just to get that page up there in the first place.
Aaaand... in my small logic, I figure that what has happened, is that the database password was changed, and now the forum can't get in, because it is using the wrong password.
Assuming I am correct... how the heck do I fix this ? Obviously I have to feed the correct password to the forum now, but how ?
