I upgraded from 5.5.1 to 6.1.1

Thanks to some help from JoshPet, I actualy have it up and running now.

One small thing. (I'm sure there will be others later. LOL)

Following instructions, I added the following to all my stylesheets....

.tablesurround {
background:#505092;
}

That made some godawful HUGE lines around all my tables. Worse, it is in some yeeerchh color.

I would like to change this line to a thin black line. What do I do ?

Remove the color from tablesurround and set it in tableborders

Thank you JC.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I tried the above. No difference.

I then tried the opposite. No difference.

Then I tried it with the same color in both, and it changed.

I now have a wide funky borderline that is a light grey color that I chose as the best compromise.

Now, I hope someone can tell me how to make the borders only one or maybe two pixels in size. I can make it black myself, now. (But the black overwhelms right now, because of the size of the borderlines.)

Basicaly, I want the same borders that are on this page...

Thanks again, JC.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Here is a copy and paste of a basic stylesheet. This one gives a wide, light grey border. I want a one-pixel, black border. A single line...

Make this:

.tablesurround {
background:#bfbfbf;
}

into:

.tablesurround {
background: ;
}

and this:

.tableborders {
background: #bfbfbf;
}

into:

.tableborders {
background: #000000;
}

Thanks.

I did that. Result was that the borders disappeared altogether, and the title bar turned all black.

I think the answer is going to lie in either putting the right code into the

.tablesurround {
background: ;
}

ie, some sort of cellspacing numbers or something of the sort..

Or else it is going to be in a table somewhere. Maybe in a template ?
