in my old UBB system, you could set it to show the user's real name's instead of their username on their posts.

Now it's defaulted to username, can you change this back?

or is there a fix/hack to make it display the Real Name instead?

There is no 'username' on ubbthreads - your users who are concerned will need to re-register as the name which they desire to be know as.

</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="" face="">I just converted a UBB6 install for a client last night and noticed the same thing. For that site, it 's a little more than users wanting to show a name, not a handle. It's a requirement.

Though they only have 1600 plus users, they've been pretty militant about having users display real names and not handles. It's been contentious and now asking 800 plus users to change to their info is not what I consider at all acceptable.

You may want to mention this in some sort of FAQ or upgrade doc. I had to search a bit for the UBB to UBBT upgrade info and the script.
