UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Creating categories and forums

I've been trying to create categories and forums to no avail. I follow the admin instructions, nothing happens.
Click 'Category Settings'..put in 'order number','name' and description...click submit changes... nothing seems to get added..
Set me straight..........

there's a tab at the bottom of the category settings page to "Add New Category" - start there.

strange, make sure you've uploaded all your wordlet/language files.

while you're at it, tag this onto the url to your forum:

/admin/createcat.php

and see what shows.

Hi Allen - yea, weird. Attached is my view with your additional URL part. English is the only folder under languages, seems fine. I appreciate your help onthis.. seems we are close.

Well, any other things I can look at? I haven't been able to come up with a solution and we would really like to get this live.

From your latest attachment, I would say you are missing some language files. Upload them all from the zip again and then see what happens.

yes, definitely looks like you are missing some language files. Re-upload

/languages/english/admin/createcat.php

to start, that will probably fix it. You may want to re-upload the rest as well, in case there's some others you are missing.

Thanks everyone - I ended up blowing the whole thing off the server and starting from the top..... So far so good...
