For PHP, my host requires that you have the following code, "#!/usr/local/bin/php", at the top of each script.

I was wondering which files exactly besides ultimatebb.php I would have to add that to, and is it safe to modify the UBB.classic code in that way? Thanks in anticipation of your responses.

Should be the only one, and this is something that falls under the realm of code hacking.

Actually, since that line means the host is using the PHP binary rather than builtin to the server, you're not going to get as much of a performance boost. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
