OK, here is what I'd like to do.

I'm currently running 6.2 and have it fairly hacked up. I'd like to install a seperate board of the latest version and install the hacks and be sure I won't loose fuctionality with the new version.

Of course a test board isn't too much use if people dont' use it. So, my question is this.

If I install this test board and have a moderator only forum on it. Ask moderators to register on the new board and use that instead of one on the regular board, is that legal?

If you give access to ANY users on your 2nd board, you would need to get another copy of the software. You can read the UBB License Agreement here.
