Question for those who have upgraded.. I'm have a small UBB and I was just curious of what features I would gain (or lose <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> ) if I upgrade to UUB6 ???

well I think you would loose all the hacks you have made, you would gain lots of cool features which I don't know what they are... why do they have UBB6 again? <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

You can have a look at the version notes and the News forum for more detail, but here are some of the main points:

Lose
Digests

Gain
Private Messages
Wordlets - enable customisation of wording across the UBB

Changes
"Announcements" replaced by "Forum Intro"
Threads are now CGI-generated, not static HTML pages, but uses new "cache" system
Server load / bandwidth usage has increased
Cookies/Login compulsory for posting
