How can I look up a user when all I know is his E-mail address? I am using UBB 5.47. The "search for registered users" returns no hits, is there something I am missing, or is he truly not there under that address? Any other way to do this?

You should be able to do that from the control panel.

You may need to rebuild member stats, to update the file Members/emailfile.cgi which maps email addresses to member numbers.

Alternatively, you could look in the file emailfile.cgi directly. Once you have the member number, you can view the member's profile. E.g., member number 123 would have profile 00000123.cgi.
