Hi all,

I run a 6.1.0.3 board. Fairly new at it but have 35 forums and over 1,000 msgs already.

I'm wondering if I can install 6.20 full fresh and copy my forums, msgs, and userbase over instead of upgrading?

I know this sounds backwords but still I need to know if its possible and if so which files would I need to be concerned with.

I hope this isn't asking to much.

It's probably possible, but I've haven't done that since version 5.4x, so I'm not sure which files need to be copied.

Why don't you want to upgrade your existing installation?

Or, clone your existing installation and upgrade it.

Easiest way IMO.. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
