My users are getting frustrated, because if they type a long post but there is some error (often, they forgot to put a subject line), they cannot use the Back button to retry!

I did a bit of checking and it seems that the problem is the
Code
META .... "no-cache"
line in public_common.pl. (Removing that line fixes the problem.)

Looking at an older forum I frequent (running v5), there is no no-cache META. Was this added in v6? If so, what would be the impact of me removing it?

It was added as part of the ongoing attempt to get the latest posts to show up on the various index pages.
