Just posted a reply in a sub-forum:

Yet, it doesn't appear in the Recent Topics list.

Hmm, it seems to be working ok for me. If I bring up active topics in the past 24 hours I see this topic first and then the "a sub-sub forum" topic second with your reply at 7:04

I'm referring to the "Recent Topics" in the left nav.

Duh. Just figured it out. It's not a new topic, just a new reply, so it wouldn't appear there.

FYI, the admin does have the ability to make "Recent Posts" islands as well, where this would show up.
