I just read the notice that UBB.Classic is being discontinued. The suggested alternative is UBB.Threads.

Is there a document somewhere on this site that describes how to make this transition, without loosing all the posts in UBB.Classic?

To clarify:

- Classic is scheduled for End of Life
- You can switch to Threads 6.x when the licenses are merged
- Threads 7 is scheduled for beta in June.

If you decide to go to Threads 6, there is a transition guide available aready, but if Threads 7 is scheduled for later this year, it might be less disruptive to your site to wait and go from Classic 6 to Threads 7 instead of Classic 6 to Threads 6 to Threads 7.

For sure, particulary since UBBThreads 6.52 is still full of bugs.

So I take that the transition document from UBB.Classic to UBB.Threads 7 is not available at this time?

Threads 7 is not currently ready for import yet, per the announcement. When the produt gets closer to release, there will be some documentation on the process.
