I have been using the Freeware Version 2000d of UBB. For a long time everything had been going smooth.

But recently, as traffic picked up, it seems that at the end of the night the forum isn't reseting itself properly in terms of what's the newest post.

Usually one or two posts from the previous day are on the top of the thread followed by the newest post for that day. Like this:

topic #2 11-15-2001 10:45 pm
topic #3 11-16-2001 09:31 am
topic #4 11-16-2001 09:45 am
topic #1 11-15-2001 07:48 pm

See what I mean? I have been going to the html file ([date].threads)and changing the 000 in the first part to a 001, but I would rather not have to do that.

I thought perhaps this was a corrupted file and have reset the board twice...completely re-installed it, but the same thing keeps happening.

I apologize if this topic has been covered countless times perviously...I scanned the forum, but couldn't find anything specifically to this problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

(para-phrased, of course!!)

It is WAY hard to help withoout having a URL directly tou your board...NOT your homepage...the board itself. Sometimes it is easier for some of us to SEE things.

Could it be a permission thing? Have you changed anything recently? When did you first notice this? Wishing for the best!!

Actually, I don't need the URL to diagnose this one.

You're using a year and a half old version of the UBB meant only to test to see if the installation can succeed.

It has bugs, and this is one of them.

Please purchase the full release.
