We have UBB version 5.43c. We set our board 1.5 years ago and set up way too many forums with sub headings. We now want to cut it back to less? Basically we don't want to lose the topics in all their various headings that we had them in and want to incorporate them under the new groups. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance.

First thing, you should really upgrade to at least 5.47e. The latest version has several useful enhancements..

You should be able to reassign any existing forums to new categories simply by using the forum settings control panel.
