Suddenly I've noticed that our UBB's v5.47 'Click Here to View Today's Active Topics' is not displaying any of that day's messages. The page and graphic displays for this link at the top of the UBB forum, but not messages are shown.

Recently we had to restore some lost messages, and I wonder if something is missing now? However, we have dozens of new messages each day and this show all forums for today feature is not showing any newly added messages.

FTP to your noncgi directory - delete the forum#index.cgi files, as well as the dailyindex file, then go to your UBB control panel and rebuild the search index (use the Index feature). FTP back into your noncgi directory and ensure that the files you deleted were recreated. If they were NOT recreated, reset permissions on the noncgi directory and try the Index process again.
