Hi.
Recently Installed UBB 5.4.7. We upgraded and moved from UNIX to 2000 server. The BBS will allow registrations, but when someone tries to post, they get a message back telling them that their name could not be found. I have verified that the names exist by locating and reading them in the Members directory. We are running ActivePerl 5.6.0 with IIS 5.0. Everything else seems to be working ok. Any ideas?

I just registered and posted in the Misc forum on your board. Did you change anything since your post here? When you move to Win2000, you may have to set all of the contents of the Members and Forumx directory to RWXD and Modify/Change for the program to start off properly at the new location.

If you are still having a problem, ask your members to click on the preferences link and click the button to clear all cookies. Then they should close their browsers and then reopen them and try again. If they are using IE, they may have to reboot to clear the cookies (I don't, but I hear that some do).
