I'm having trouble with chmod'ing. Using WS_FTP, I'll try set one document to 757 but it will switch all the documents in the cgi-bin to 757, regardless of what they were before. I've tried doing it in different folders, but it still has the same problem. Do I have some wierd setting on?

Thanks,

Patrick Smith

In WS_FTP the permissions screen shows the last permission setting used, not the current one. To view the current permissions click the DirInfo button. The directory listing might need to be refreshed before showing the new permissions. Btw, the ubb needs 755 and 777 permissions for the different files and directories. No files or directories need 757 permissions.
