my provider has got a NT Server with perl plgIn.
when i start the cgi test from the ubb board i get the following message.
BUT the *.pl test is OK.
Is this a error from my provider or from me?

the error:

Don't speak Austrian I'm Afraid...

However, I suspect that your web host does not map scripts to .cgi , and maps to .pl ONLY.

Having had some experience of this problem I would try and find a host that DOES map to .pl - this makes things so much easier. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
