Also after posting the first time to facebook I have found if I make any edits to the meta tags. They are not immediate nor back dated.
So all existing posts do not seem to update at first and new ones take a while to change. Probably due to some caching issue with facebook.
Yes, Facebook makes a cache of the fetched image as to not hammer your server; there are
some ways of clearing that cache however.
