Ubbdev is supported by the the same people but it is also a beta site for new releases.
They just want a clear definitive line from stock code and modifications.
The site here is to support only stock code even though they may break the rules slightly sometimes.
It is strongly suggested to goto UBBDEV if you are looking to modify the base code of the software.

Also some modifications at that site are a pay for item.
You just need to pay attention to each mod and if it was incorporated into the latest release or not as well as if they are compatible with your version.
