Our forum has posts going back to 2006 and our members include many photos and documents. Everything goes into a single attachments directory. It takes cpanel File Manager a verrry long time to even list the files in that directory.
It would be helpful and much more workable if UBB would create subfolders under attachments based a time period and place the attachments there. URL links contained in the post metadata would reflect the sub-folder. When the calendar flipped to the next time period UBB would create the next sub-folder and put all attachments for that period into the folder.
The time period should be a setting in the config file
Yearly -- 2020
Monthly -- 2020-04
Weekly --2020-04-week number of year
This way admins of Low, Medium, and High volume forums can choose the time period that suits them best.
