I'm using the group editor (clicking on the ammount of users in the group) and selecting users to remove from my groups; when selected I choose "Change Groups" and click "all selected members on this page". This brings up the "Change Groups" page, from here I select that I would like to remove these users from the "Staff" group and click submit, and I get a confirmation page...

Well, when I go and redo the search, the same users are still listed; when I view their profile it still says that they're in the groups that I had just removed them from...

Here's the fix. Line 89 of admin/dochangeusergroups.php has this:

$isin .= "'gid',";

That should be:

$isin .= "'$gid',";

I am glad I found this topic and fix as I am now able to do mass membership removal from a group or groups using the select members option.
