Since the Opera Browser (ver 9.10) doesn't support the <wbr> tag properly, or at least doesn't appear to, is there any other way to break long words? Currently, if a long word is entered, Opera won't display the last message correctly, leaving out the last line. In the attached screenshot, my last line should read: [x] [Myke] and subsequently stuffs up the last msg Is this something Opera users have to live with, or can long words be broken with a <br> instead? IE6 and FF2 appear to be OK.

Hate to bump threads, but this is still an issue in 7.1. Does this problem get notched up as something Opera users must live with, or is there a reasonable work-around?

For now be happy it works.
If i turn mine on i have page hangs etc.
As no one is sure what the problem is.
For me the hanging happens on these forums too,
regardless of which browser i have running.

Myke, there was a reason that I had to use the wbr tag instead of the standard br tag, but I can't remember what it was. I'll need to do some testing to see if I can change it, or if I can't what the reason was and if there is a workaround.

Ok, I've been doing some testing and I think I've been able to switch over to just using a standard break tag with out any bad side effects.
