This is an example of what I feel is a bug. When you're posting without html or without UBBCode, and you use line returns in your post, you will not have any line returns in the output...
Simply, the post will ignore all of your line returns, and show all of your content on one line.
From what i can tell, there is no way to specify to use a line return.
I feel that this is an issue, as people tend to post in paragraphs, and using no ubbcode is a good way of showing people what errors should look like outside of using ubbcdoe tags to do so.
This post for example has 6 paragraphs, but the output will show it as one large jumble of text...
What do you think?

Hmmm, It seems it replaces my \r with \s, as I didn't add spaces after my paragraphs...

actually, if you view the source, you'll notice it didn't remove anything. It saved it exactly as you typed it. This was to reduce the issues with tables I believe

I guess when you're using no HTML or ubbcode, carriage returns should be converted to linebreaks. No other formatting is done, so it shouldn't cause any problems.
Fixed for 7.1.1
