RARE! 1983 EARLY print Apple Macintosh UserGuide for the original 1984 Mac 1st Model M0001 Mac 128K! This is the original earliest printing of this manual from 1983, and only came with the very earliest production Macs! This earliest printing lacks a suffix letter at the end of the part number printed on the rear cover, and has a 1983 print date inside the front cover! In early-1984 Apple revised this manual and added an A after the part number on rear cover and the print date changed to 1984, then again in May 1984 when it was revised again with a B after to the part number. The A and B versions from 1984 are much more common to find as many more were printed than this pre-A version from 1983!
This early printing contains information that was inaccurate by the time the Macintosh actually was launched in late January 1984, as it was printed prior to the final revisions to the Mac and the software! It refers to the Alternate Disk, which never made it into the final Macintosh software. Very hard to find collectible from the earliest days of Mac!
160 pages, unmarked inside, all pages attached to spiral binding, no writing or highlighting, no torn pages or dog ears. Very minor shelf wear to covers, bend mark to front cover bottom corner where it is separated from the binding, and small tear to the rear cover edge on the side as shown, but very nice and clean considering it is now 35+ years old. Great collectible and reference for the original 1984 Macintosh 128K. Photos of actual manual buyer will receive.
From smoke-free, dry storage so no smoke or old musty odors absorbed into the paper! Also have listed many other original Apple Macintosh manuals, see my other items.
