1984 Apple Macintosh – \"I’d rather be driving a Macintosh\" Bumper Sticker

Original Apple Computer 1984 \"I’d rather be driving a Macintosh\" bumper sticker. This was part of the 1984 “Test Drive a Macintosh” ad campaign that urged potential customers to take a Macintosh home for 24 hours to test drive it. This is a rare vintage item highly sought after by collectors. It has never been used and is in good overall condition with slight yellowing on back, on the peel off paper that covers the sticky surface. The stickiness below it appears to still be good. The image above is a scanned and cropped image of the actual bumber sticker. It has not been otherwise altered. See the following link for additional information on the 1984 \"Test Drive a Macitosh\" advertising campaign:Cult of Mac: \"Today in Apple history: World gets a chance to test-drive a Mac\"

Condition Grade: GOOD

Our 6-Point Grading Scale:

  • MINT: Mint would mean that the print ad has remained seal wrapped since the day of production and never handled to the present day.
  • NEAR MINT: Much like new. Almost no wear or signs of age.
  • VERY GOOD: A very nice copy. Very lightly used and clean. There may be faint to mild signs of use or age.
  • GOOD: A nice copy. There are mild to moderate signs of use or age in this category. These issues are all intact and without serious damage.
  • FAIR: Usable, but with moderate damage (defined in item listing). These are either more visibly used or have some more notable damage such as yellowing or sun damage due to age.
  • POOR: Still usable, but with significant damage (defined in item listing). These print ads are inexpensive and are always a good value for the right customer!
