ADAPTER AGP3.3 - PROTOTYPE AGP2PCI - 3Dfx - Voodoo
100% FUNCTIONAL AND TESTED.
(Designed for VOODOO5 6000)This version can be used for any AGP 3.3v VGA card. With this adapter you can use your old VGA in a new PC platform.
ADAPTER AGP3.3 vers:
- New design BLACK PCB / FLASH GOLDEN letters.
- Some minor bugs fixed.
- Jumper for set 33/66MHz BUS speed. Important difference performance when you need bandwidth between 66MHz instead of 33MHz.
- Modified for using the adapter without internal Power Supply.
- Possibly the best option for V5-6000 users. It has been tested in looping mode with my actual V5-6000 with 0 problems. Not HEAT problem.
- I recommend to using this adatper in motherboards with PCIx support.
COMPATIBLITY AGP3.3 ADAPTER IN STANDAR PCI 5V SLOT: Under you own risk you can use this adapter in standar PCI device 5V but you must be sure your motherboard is compatible and supports 3.3/5V PCI bus interface. I still did not find a motherboard is not compatible with this adapter.
- Not USE it if you motherboard is PCI COMPLIANCE 1.0/2.0
- PCI COMPLIANCE 2.1/2.2 - Check manual of your motherboard. Again I still did not find any motherboard based on 2.1/2.2 PCI COMPLIANCE not compatible with the adatper but you must be sure if your motherboard supports 3.3/5V PCI bus interface.
- PCI 2.3/3.0 COMPLIANCE - Totally safe using ADAPTER AGP3.3 in PCI slot since 5V support is deleted.
