Amiga 1200 M-Tec T1230LC Viper IV Accelerator 42Mhz 68030 8MB Fast RAM Tested & Working
8MB Memory Tests OK
Real Time Clock Tests OK
Modification:I replaced the soldered in coin battery with a coin cell holder. The holders I had in stock were a little bit large for this card, but not completely over-the-top, so I used a small piece of foam as a standoff underneath the holder to keep it a tiny bit offset from the card so that it doesn't rub on anything (I was never worried about anything shorting, but the plastic holder tray would have sat on some IC pins, which could have caused some mechanical stress and I didn't like that). Also, the contacts for the holder wouldn't fit in the card's through-holes, so I had to modify the coin cell holder to use header pins that would fit the card.
Bottom line is that it *is* a hack job, but it's decently clean, it works just fine, and you can easily change the battery now. However, I'm detailing this in the interest of full disclosure.
You can see the results of memory, clock and performance tests above.
I also used to run this card in my personal Amiga 1200 and it works great for WHDLoad.
