For sale, a working vintage Amstrad ppc640 portable computer. It has two 3.5 720K floppy drives that have been tested and are working, and has 640k of ram as well as a modem card. The original carrying case has a few minor rips and scuffs (see pictures). It is from a nonsmoking home and doesn’t have any noticeable smells. Included with the computer are the original power adapters, (both 12 volt and 110 volt), user manuals, parallel cord adapter, and phone cable for the modem. A usb 3.5 floppy drive will be included as well so you can easily download and transfer games and applications to the computer. There are three 3.5 720k floppies that go with the computer. One has MSDOS 3.3 (a copy of the original Amstrad boot disk), another is blank, and the last has several games on it including Pac-Man, Lode Runner and several others. The battery compartment, which takes 10 C cell batteries is clean, but you can see in one of the pictures were a contact had been corroded at one point and was cleaned. The bottom of the computer is missing a rubber foot and several screws. Overall It’s a great computer and fun to play around on, I’m just downsizing my collection.
