This is the text that introduced the Macintosh to the world during theSuper Bowl XVIII on January 22nd, 1984. They never guessed that it would change humanity forever...

This particular unit is VERY special as it has a very low serial number, being manufactured the week of the launch date; Week 3 of 1984; BEFORE OFFICIAL LAUNCH!!!Thisunit is a MUST for any avid Apple computer collector, and a DREAM for those looking to maintain a reallyextraordinaryMacintosh collection.

Introduced to the public via the famous \"1984\" advert created by Ridley Scott, the Macintosh promised to start a revolution on personal computing...AND IT DID! This computer is the original model. As it was the first Macintosh there is no model number on the back, it was only called \"Macintosh\". The original M0001 did not have that long a run as It would only be till September before they introduced both separately badged 128k and 512k models. Units made after November 1984 had \"Macintosh 128k\" replacing the original Mac badging. This makes finding an original Mac quite rare these days, much less a low serial one!

This Mac has been cleaned inside and out. We restored it to it\'s original colour, definitely museum quality!! The floppy disk drive has been cleaned and tested for guaranteed operation. Most Macintosh computers of this time have faulty keyboards, mice, and drives. Not this one!!It comes with Macintoshkeyboard (M0110),Macintosh Numeric Keypad (M0120),and Macintosh Mouse (M0100) and a white power cable. Also included with the computer arehard coverautobiographies of Steve Jobs and John Scully.
