Hardly used and always kept in a sealed plastic bag. Attempts to boot but receives error: "Non-system disk or bad disk". I suspect the system floppies are just de-magnetized.
The Sanyo MBC-555 was one of the first IBM-compatible home computers that retailed forunder $1000. It was released in 19821. The computer was a cheap alternative tothe IBM PCs available at the time, although it was not as fast as them. The SanyoMBC-555 had an Intel 8088 processor clocked at 3.6 MHz and 128 KB of memory. It came with two 5.25" floppy drives, an internal 500k hard drive andan RGB graphics adapter. The computer, monitor, and keyboard were all in matchingmetallic grey.
