This sale is for five 6 inch silicon wafers randomly picked. The set shown is typical of what you would receive. These are all 20 to 30 years old, six inches in diameter, American made, and all have printed circuits on them. Microprocessors, peripherals, memory, and logic are all in the mix. Some may have surface scratches, finger prints, scuffs, polish errors, etc, but still good enough condition to be great for microscope viewing. I don't have time to sort these out. That's why they are going cheap.
Circuit patterns on wafers of this age are large enough to be viewed well with a 100x-200x scope. Colors of the microscopic films and circuits vary dramatically with lighting and viewing angle. These photos were made in ordinary white room lighting and are not color enhanced.
