Original 5 ¼” floppy drive made by Tandon in Singapore for IBM 5051 PC on February 2nd, 1984. It read and wrote to 5 1/4" floppies without a problem. IBM PC components of these early computers were built to last. I replaced it with a 20MB HD in 1987 and it’s been boxed and stored on a closet shelf ever since.
