Bought this to replace a fan I broke in an air filter. The wires were nice and long so I was able to splice them easily. When I first turned it on it was going really slowly with not much air flow but after about 30 seconds it was much better, I guess it just needed to break in. It has yet to receive much use so I'll update this if needed.

These perform the same as some 30mm fans I've bought on here, so I'll give my same review to describe this one: For my purposes I needed this fan to cool off a heatsink, but comparing it to some other fans I've bought by a different company, these seem to have a lot lower CFMs (air flow.) Sure, this lower CFM makes the fans more quiet, but they do not perform as well. I'll give a made-up example using numbers out of my head describing my experimenting, let's say the heatsink is at 100F (very hot to the touch), this fan will bring it down to let's say 90F (moderately hot to touch), while my other fan will bring it down to let's say 70F (cooler to touch). I had to stop using these fans and buy other more somewhat expensive ones to get the cooling I needed, which made this a worthless buy for me. Also as a random note, this fan's 2-pin connector is the tinier JST 2 connector, compared to my other better fans is using the slightly bigger JST 2.54 connector.Read full review

The fan itself is the exact size needed, but the plug is the wrong size. It is too small. I had to remove both female pins from the plug and slide them over the male pins in my machine. It works and after running a while, it's relatively quiet. But, till the fan has been going a few minutes, it is rather noisy.

It works and it is quiet. Exactly what I was hoping for. I hope it lasts longer than the fan it replaced (different brand). The new connector was not a match for the original but it wasn't hard to solder the old cable onto this new fan.

Much better than the original fan on my anet A8. It's quieter, draws less power and cools everything well.
