I was very leery about the machines capability of scanning quality of everything the advertisement claimed of it. I was very happily surprised to say the least. that the colors were great. The settings are a little confusing when changing from different film types but once I figured it out looking at the different films and scanning was a breeze. I'm glad I purchased it!

Overall this product is satisfactory. I am disappointed with the actual resolution. When viewing negatives, the backlight flickers which makes it difficult to see. It also manually shuts itself off while in the middle of viewing. It claims great internal storage but it really only holds about thirty photos. But, I have enjoyed looking through these old boxes of negatives but for the money, I think it could be better. It's way over priced for what you get.

Super easy to use. I scanned 400 slides in about 2 hours. Excellent quality. Don't have to connect to a computer, so it's compatible with Linux. Just scan to an SD card. Small enough that you could take this on vacation and get it done anywhere.

The scans are much better than I would have imagined. Some images are almost perfect. Some need a little bit of adjustment and you may need to make 4 images to get the results you like, but overall I'm impressed with the quality of the scan. I recommend this unit as a cost effective alternative. It 's very quick too, takes about 3 seconds for a scan.

This device is very easy to use. A little bit of repetitive practice and it becomes second nature.
