I am impressed with this 7 port USB 3 card. The build seems to be of excellent quality. I did not follow the instructions in that I downloaded and installed the drivers before installing the card. I did use the provided cable for a power supply connection as instructed. As soon as the computer had finished booting I checked out the ports in Device manager, yup all there, plugged in my devices and they all worked. Win 10 did assign the same com port to a couple of devices but that can be sorted out in the "Advanced" menu by changing the com port number.

The PC I bought this card for didn't have wide enough cut outs so all usb ports ended up partially blocked and by that unusable unless I modified the cut outs. I didn't want to do that so I will use it in some other computer instead.

First off be sure to have an extension cable to power the card, as its not directly PCI powered. When installing to SURE to get it as close to centered as perfect; or you may have trouble getting your devices to hookup since the ports are lined the way they are. Be sure the internal power is secured tightly or it could come off during moving, etc. Be sure your apadter is long enough (unless you happen to have a spare sata power that'll reach) no complaints here, and intend on buying another one soon!

After installing the card inside my PC ( rather recent and powerful), I connected the power. When I plug in devices on any of the USB port they turn on but none of them are recognized in Windows. I have installed the orico drivers obviously. What is strange is that without these drivers my computer freezes. Such a bad product or should I say it’s just another cheap piece of garbage!!!
