Could have been ugly. The circuit board was shipped bare, unprotected, in paper envelope with thin padding, that provided no meaningful protection from external forces, magnetic or physical. Poor packaging increases potential for shipping damage, especially for electronic components, but fortunately, no damage observed and board worked as it should. Very happy that everything turned out well.
